Guide : Using Google for the Keyword Research

Now thats a saying of past that “everything depends on the quality of the post” . In Today’s Web World, Its a lot more than just writing Good Quality Stuff. Its also much more dependent on other factors like SEO , Keywords , Indexing etc .The better you are in it , More quickly you grow. Keyword Research is one of the most important activity which helps you to grow your blog at a very high pase , its just how you drive readers from various search engines to your page. Here is a quick example of excellent SEO and keyword selection , If you Search Google with a keyword “Nokia C6″ ,  Nokia Page wont be the first one . The first one would be GSMArena.com because of there excellent keyword research and amazing SEO. The same you can do to your blog if you have selected perfect Set of keywords and have done pretty decent SEO in your blog.

I Will try to keep this article as simple as possible as this is going to help a lot of newbie and therefore i’ll just write to the point , you may have to search Google for some terms but that’s all its about , searching and finding.!
One thing I wanna explain , What Exactly do we mean by keywords?  Well , Its a Search Term which people use in search engines (Google,Yahoo,Bing) to get the desired result.

1.Login To Google Adwords Keywords Tool

Once you are in the Keywords Research tool you have to sign in with your google account so that you may get the full
functionality. The Google Page then will look exactly the same. You may go to the website by Clicking Here.

2. Setting Up The Tool

Once you are in your account you have the complete access to the tool , wonderful! Now lets start with the stuff. Check
Mark the “Exact” search from left sidebar and also add the columns , I’ve given screenshot , You may refer to it.

3. Correct Method

Here’s the main part of the whole thing. Let’s say we want to find keyword about this post. So, I’ll enter “Google Keyword tool” in the word/phrase box and hit the search button. You will need to sort the results in ascending order by “competition” column to get a better idea. The reason why we’re sorting by the competition column is because we need to target traffic.

Now, you should look into the keywords with 4 or more words (long tail keywords) and having monthly global searches more than 2500-3000 or above and also an optional thing which is Approx CPC to be somewhere around $0.50 or above. This is the criteria which we follow when we need to make a keyword research for our articles. Now, sort out around 10 of those , note them down.

4. Narrow the scope

Now keep on sorting out the keywords from above method and try to narrow the keywords to 3 or 4 and select those which will give your website the maximum boost

5. Enjoy
