As in the blogging field, there are around millions of blogs and thousands are being created every day. So what all factors will determine who is the best. Some would say Alexa rank, some would say page rank, some would say how much money we make out of it, some would say the number of comments a person has. But I would say you, all of these factors can be narrowed down to only 1 factor i.e: your visitors,and your fan following. By Fan following I am not considered about twitter followers, or fan page likes. Here, I am talking about the number of people that come to your site and trust your tips & tricks and follow them and the most important – they are actually benefited from them.

Consistency
You all must be thinking this is the usual point everyone says. But STOP. Let me show you the real picture. It has been seen that most of the bloggers fail or are not able to make it to the top because of the consistency problem. Consistency is a wide term. It does not only include writing articles daily and replying to comments. It also includes writing the quality of the articles that you deliver constantly. and its the most difficult thing to do. Think upon it, even Sachin is not able to score a hundred in every match. So try, to be consistent with your blog posts & with your blog quality.
Don’t Fear to show if you have a Different Perspective
Don’t Fear to do anything. You have your own blog, your own readers, you are an individual. Don’t worry and think inferior if you have a different perspective for anything. Share up with your readers that you think upon this topic like this. May be they also think the same or if everything goes wrong, still you have a chance to create a discussion. It’s a win win situation in any case. For eg: If everyone is saying that Facebook timeline is great and you personally don’t think so. Write a post about it “Facebook Timeline Sucks” or whatever you want to. Give them points to support your criticism and stand out of the crowd.
Create a Relationship with your Readers
Remember one thing. It doesn’t matter in which field you are, what business your doing. People are something that is the most important part of it because they are the elements that make this world move. These are the only reason to make you blog. For creating relationships, you can try many things, like making easy for them to contact you, reply to their emails, or fb messages or whatever, throw a seminar for all of them either online or offline, hang out on google+ and much more.
Innovation
Being a leader means to stand out from crowd. And one thing that separates a leader and a follower is vision & innovation of that vision. So try to innovate new tricks, tips that can help you grow as well as help your fellow bloggers as well as your readers to grow. Try to experiment and research, try new things and see if they work or not. Whether they work or not, share them with your readers that you are trying something new, share something about it may be in just 100 words.
Involve Your Readers
Why do you think facebook is a successful website. Is Facebook doing anything to make it successful apart from handling the traffic and innovation. Nope. They are not doing anything. But that focus on 1 thing and that is most important for any website. Involving the readers. If people are involved in success on anything, they automatically feels motivated and they tend to be more involved it. Hence they are an important ingredient to make your blog successful, why not give them a chance to get involved. It can be in any way like giving your reader, a chance to write on your blog and many more.
