Twitter is really a nice way to drive traffic to your blog. If you really want your brand to have a social media presence, you can’t afford to ignore twitter. People love to share content on twitter – re-tweets, replies, favorite, followers and much more.
I personally take twitter very seriously when it comes to making your brand active in social media. These days I am embedding some of the relevant tweets in my blog posts and trust me they are really helping me to get some decent activity on twitter for my website. I got some new followers, a decent amount of re-tweets to my embedded thread and much more.
Here’s how embedded tweet look like:
I love to embed my tweets in my blog posts. Do you do that?

It has a complete functionality to re-tweet the content, follow the user, see the date when the user posted it, favorite the tweet. In brief, it contains every functionality that twitter has in it.
So, I thought to educate my readers that why they should also embed tweets in their blog posts. Because if my readers are benefited then only I am benefited from the core.
3 Reasons Why You Should Embed Tweets in Your Blog Posts
1. Increase in the number of followers
Let me ask you a question.
How many of your readers are aware that you are active on twitter?
I probably would say just 50% and they know because they are your regular readers. But, think about it, how cool it will be if any visitor coming to your blog post from Google or any other search engine, can follow you or re-tweet your tweets from inside the blog post?
Yes, it is really cool and it is one strategy that can increase your twitter presence without any extra home work apart from simple embedding while writing the post.
2. Increase in the number of Re – tweets
Another benefit of embedding the tweets into your blog posts is that it gets a large number of re -tweets. The main reason behind is that people already have the baked cake in front of them and they just have to cut it into slices.
It means, the tweet is already in front of them, what it conveys to their readers, how it looks, etc, they just have to re -tweet it. And the psychology says, if everything is already done, people tend to do the last step to take the full credit.
3. Overall Advertising of Your Twitter Profile
Last but not the least, with the help of embedding tweets, your twitter profile gets a free advertising. The result of it is that the readers who were unaware about the fact that your brand is active on twitter, now knows about it. And more & more persons know about it, then it will surely lead to more fan following over there.

Hi Harneet,
That’s a very powerful feature on Twitter but many bloggers are yet to discover that. I’m writing a tutorial on how to do this and, like you said, this increases activities on your blog.
thanks for giving the 3 reasons

I’ve been implementing some tweets for a while, it certainly shows the power that Twitter can have sometimes and like you say, by having the tweet in the post it certainly helps with the ReTweets, specially if the article you are writing has that tweet in mind.

I love having this feature available and have used it on occasion. It’s a great way to show people about a topic and validate it too by an authority that tweeted about it. It can increase reach if you included several in a post I’ve found.
