How to Change the Order of the WordPress Pages

Pages are an important part of every blog and around 100% of the blogs contains some static pages in their blog. It might be about us page, contact us page, privacy policy page and many more. By default WordPress order the pages in alphabetically order, but it is quite easy to change the order of the pages. Today, we would be sharing the steps to change the order of the pages.

 

How to Change the Order of the WordPress Pages
  1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard
  2. From the left navigation panel, click on ‘Pages’. It will display the list of the pages
  3. Hover the mouse over the page of which you want to change the order
  4. A list of options would come underneath – Click on ‘Quick Edit’
  5. After clicking on Quick Edit, a list of options would appear. On the right hand side of this options list there would be an option named ‘Order’
  6. In the order box, Enter the number where you want this page to appear. For eg: If you want the privacy policy page to appear before about us page, then order the privacy policy page as ’1′ and order the about us page as ’2′. It’s Done. Now your about us page will appear after the privacy policy page.
